The Tommy G Group

The Tommy G Group originated in the first few months of 2020 just as the Great Pandemic was getting underway.  Prompted by the divisive rhetoric he was hearing, it reignited the creativity and passion for songwriting he always had; and,  using that rhetoric, he wrote a song

As Tommy G put it: "Basically because I couldn't believe what I was actually hearing,  I wrote another song and another.   There was a lot of talking and I was writing a lot. Before I knew it, I had an album.  And so, "You Can't Make This stuff Up" was born."

Being such a fan of southern rock, blues and ZZTOP, the next step was to find a band to play this stuff for people.   So  The Tommy G Group was created; "We figured we'd save our creative  talent for the music."

So what's going on with the Tommy G Group next? 

"Right now, we are busy working on our second album and trying to get gigs. While we love our originals and performing them, we have a selection of cover material in the same type of genre that we play as well.  As a result, we can cover just about any type of event you have, club or corporate."
